"Come to admire a breath-taking view from a traditional Balinese rice terrace in Tegallalang! Meet Bu Made and Pak Kandi in their family-owned rice terrasse and discover a unique and authentic Balinese agricultural experience with us!
Have a rice day!"
Growing Rice at Mupu Rice Terrace is a cycle of hard work, spiritual connection, and celebration. The traditional Balinese farming practices such as 'Nyorokin', 'Numbeg', and 'Memula' are well maintained in combination with 'Byukukung' and 'Nyungsung' ceremony. All of those processes are intended to keep harmony with the God, People, and Environment.
The rice terrace from this couple of local farmers is literally our only must see in Bali if we had to choose.
We spent 1 month is Bali and so far it was our most spectacular and special experience. It’s an incredibly well maintained rice terrace by these sweet and generous people. Have a chat with them, learn about their work and family and enjoy the Terrace!!

I had the most incredible experience visiting this rice terrace! The owner's dedication to maintaining these lush, green fields for more than 20 years is truly commendable. The terrace is a mesmerizing sight, and I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The owner's passion for rice cultivation shines through in every aspect of this place. Plus, I had the pleasure of enjoying fresh, delicious coconuts during my visit. What made it even more special was that I took a nap on the swing with a perfect view of the rice fields. It was a serene and peaceful moment, and I felt completely immersed in the beauty of nature. If you're looking for a unique and awe-inspiring agricultural experience, this is the place to visit. I'll cherish the memories of my visit here forever!
Amazing views!
If want to experience a true rice terrace off the beaten path this is the one for you. Walking through their terrace was like none other. Beautiful, serene, calm and just 10/10 all around. You are free to wonder - I spent 3 hours exploring. Finally, the biggest plus is that by donating you’re supporting a local family business that is involved in every part of the operations - they are truly lovely and care for their visitors.
Mupu rice terrace is my favourite place in Bali. I have never felt more peaceful than I do there. Is the 3rd time that I visited Bu Made. She always remembers us and welcomes us with her beautiful smile. The place itself is gorgeous has swings and also a hammock. We could stay there as much as we wanted! Bu Made also provided me with so many props to take beautiful pictures! If you visit the rice fields, please don't miss this place!
Mupu rice terrace was just awesome! The owners are very kind and helpful. They sell cold drinks and their own rice. The views are amazing and so authentic!!! Highlight of our trip! ❤️
We were at the Mupu Roce Terrace at 10.00am and it was so quite. There were only a few other people walking through it. There is no entry fee. You are allowed to give them a voluntary donation. A friendly old lady offered us two hats as sun protection and we had a lovely chat. it was an amazing experience! I totally recommend to go there.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
